Everyone has some degree of anxiety when they go to the dentist. We make every effort to help you relax, from your initial appointment to your dental treatment and all the way to your dental maintenance care.
We explain your proposed treatment plan with audio-visual aids, models and detailed pamphlets, as well as photographs and radiographs of your jaw and tooth structures. We offer nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) and sedative medications that can be administered either orally or intravenously.
Dr. Paris is licensed by the Texas State Dental Board to provide intravenous sedation. To further ensure the safest possible method of performing intravenous sedation in a dental office, he has two Board-Certified Dental Anesthesiologists, Dr. Shawn Seifikar and Dr. David Goydan, perform this service. Both have been working with Dr. Paris for over 15 years, and are known for their outstanding work in the field.
For patients that have complex medical conditions, or need general anesthesia, Dr. Paris is on staff at Medical City of Arlington and treats these types of patients in the day surgery unit, even if they require restorative treatment rather than surgery services.
